Updates!

We wonnnnnn!!!! (yes i know its a belated post but better late than never na???)

what better way to come back from my blog hibernation?! the pure happiness of winning the world cup after 28 long years....its just unbelievable!!!





it has been an amazing tournament! its actually the first time i realized that im a bigger fan of one-day cricket than i gave myself credit for...i loved watching the world cup matches - even the ones that didn't have india playing and was super hyper about following all the games very closely!

anyways apart from cricket, lots has been happening! i cant believe we are already into april of 2011 - where has the time gone by?? in the last month or so:

• D's bday: this was interesting as get-together's at her place generally are! i bump into people i havent met in ages and conversations are def interesting! :)

• A's bday: we did bday dinner @ Swensons followed by lots of drinking at my place with a couple of her other friends...new friends who i must remember to call! im so horrible at keeping in touch with people!!

• K's bday: dinner @ swensons again followed by a weekend of fun @ phuket!! the trip was a bachelorette & bday trip combined and was aweeeesome fun!!! i love beaches and the weather was just perfect the 2 days that we were there! lots of drinking & inappropriate talk was done...! :D

• K's bday: another formal-ish party but this was made okay by the superb location and the decent company i managed to find! was followed by a night of clubbing in cq (finally!) after almost 2-3 months!!

• random drinking nights with S & G: the guys basically made my house their adda for 2-3 wks in between...almost every evening saw them opening yet another bottle of wine/daru and cooking food & drinking with random conversation thrown in!

• work, work, work: its been insanely hectic! i have no idea where the days go by! i hate it at times and love it at times...i guess its a normal reaction to work?

• B coming to town: the last week has been spent catching up with B on 3 months of conversation that just cannot be done over the phone! small things that hurt me, disappointments with imp people in my lives, disappointments that i know i shouldn't be feeling after all this while coz im supposed to be learning to caliberate people & my expectations to them! but its so hard to do! how can u not expect something from a friend for whom you would do anything in the world?! anyways B is prob the only person in the world who understands these small hurts and validates that im not insane, just too sensitive! we are also finally gonna make a trip to universal studios soon! ive been wanting to go since a long time!

• ohhh and most important update was that i bot the iPhone 4!!! i loved my iPhone 3 but omg the 4 is sooo shiny & pretty! and it has an awesome camera! which has flash! and it has a camera in the front which makes it super easy to take good profile pics of myself without cutting off the head or ears! *sssiiiigggghhhh* im in lurve!!! :D and omg im such a gadget-whore!!!

• annnnd P is back in town after 4 months! we finally caught up and talked properly! am so glad she is back! :)

for now april seems to be quite busy with B in town! i cant wait for my 25th bday! mom & dad have been demanded to buy me something shiny & sparkly for my 25th bday and the bro has been instructed to finally get me the Kindle as a bday gift! of course i told him he has to supplement that with a smaller gift of something he though by himself! knowing him, im sure that gift will never come!! *eyes rolling*

i also need to be a bit more regular in this space...!!! *fingers crossed*
