hmmm so were my happy moments yday??
Day 5: Tuesday
1. the brilliant weather! it was super cold yday minus the rain...so much so that in fact i wore a thick sweater like top to work which i would never wear otherwise and was still freezing!!!
2. i finally finished re-reading harry potter 7: deathly hallows...and i looove the book! i absolutely love the series! there is just something so magical about it! im not crazy mad to stand in line for 10 hours to get the first copy of the book...but i rem when my dad got the 5th book from bngkk...he reached home at like 6 in the evening and i stayed up till 4am in the morning...barely breaking to gulp down dinner in 5 mins! the dinner break was only coz i did not want to eat around the book - else im sure i would have not moved a muscle till the book was done!! lol!
so yea ive loved harry potter and re-reading it made me super happy...i cant wait for the 7th movie now...i hope they do at least some justice to it!
3. so i work in a bank right and my colleagues right now are trying to do some business with my dads company...now because i fall in the middle and also coz i know a lot abt this company coz my dads been working there since ages! i have been getting involved in the pre-deal discussion process of the deal structure & pricing & stuff! its all pretty kool and im super happy! :) of course im sure im breaching some ethical breach somewhere...but im learning a lot! plus its not like im taking any decision...for now am just helping my bank understand the company structure...which in the case that i wasnt around would have to be done by someone!
4. there is this conversation ive been wanting to have since last week with someone...basically having to turn down something...and if there's one thing im horrible at, its saying no! i never really learnt how to...and i feel so horrible for hurting the other person that i immediately turn around and eat back my own words! *sigh* so i decided to take the cowards way out and email instead of calling...but of course i couldnt escape and the person called me after abt 15 mins..!! im proud to say that i handled the conversation better than i had expected and was able to firmly say no! :)
5. ohh and of course this list has to have something food related...i had the most awesome chocolate croissant yday! and it was so yummmm!!!! :D

Yeah sometimes when you do or achieve a thing which is difficult for you, you tend to find more happiness in it. Good that you were able to do so. I still could not learn saying firmly No to somethings. :) Fear of hurting someone is too bad in some situations.

yes thats true...the fear of hurting someone does paralyse you sometimes...but sometimes its the only way out and then u cant do anything but grit your teeth and get through it!
today has been roller coaster of ups & downs...wait till my next post! :)
:) Foooooooooood, are we talking here. Am all smiles. Infact am actually plannig to start a food blog..still contemplating :) Btw, I cant cook to save my life. But I love eating :D
And saying NO, well, not easy. But I guess I become quite curt at times and just say what I have in my mind. With me, what you see is what you get. Now finally I think I have learnt the 'art' of saying no :)

hmm i cook decently well i guess...but im suuper lazy and would only cook if
a. i had to impress someone
b. i am feeling very loving towards someone!
thats a good thing...with me i usually tend to just say stuff in my head rather than out loud! i think im waay too much of a people pleaser sometimes...
of course there are the some exceptions when the person in front would completely piss me off and then god save them! :P

lol..nope! God believes in letting us fight our own battles! :P
and its not only my bro who ive cooked for...have cooked a couple of times for friends but like i said im suuper lazy when it comes to cooking!
